It's a silly question but were the original Ka Bars during WW2 that were standard issue serrated or fine edge? I plan on buying one for my grandfather who served in the marines during WW2 1 for christmas and I want to get an authentic 1 but tbh he's abit up in age so I don't know if he will beable to remember a detail such as this so simply asking him won't work (though he probably wouldn't care if it was serrated or not).
