I was going through my pics,when I happened upon this.What a work of art this thing is.Were these ever made available to the public?I'd save for a year to get one.;)

Some folks do have to save an entire year, or more.
Some customs are $1000's.

Seeing as it's a prototype, and probably a one-off at that, I don't imagine there was any public availability.
 
That ZT prototype was sold at the Wormser/Ellis Tactical Invitational in Vegas a couple years ago. Originally sold in the $7k-$8k range. It just changed hands recently, don't know what the new owner paid.

OMG!:eek:Even if I had that kind of money,I don't think I could ever spend $7000-$8000 on a knife.Thanks for the info:thumbup:
 
I'm just hoping that Kershaw does the Damascus they did on the Leek again. One of the few times I have ever seen Damascus at a reasonable price.
 
Sweet. Hopefully (although I don't think it will be the case) they may have a fancier handle too. My only issue with the Damascus Leek is the plain steel handle which to me never went with the blade at all.

You could always change it out for other handles. It would
look good in any of the colors or G-10.
