West German Crate Hammer

I have this tomahawk hammer hatchet pry bar nail puller, or I think it's called a crate hammer.

It is all one piece forged and has plastic handle inlays which are marked west Germany.

It looks a bit like the Bridgeport type but it's not a Bridgeport.

Any ideas of manufacturers anyone ????

Swordfish - China.
Romunder - Germany.
Solingen - Germany.
Imbel - Brazil.
A friend showed up with one, he suspects it's German, but we're not sure.
Based on its features, I believe it's a Solingen, but I don't recognize the timbre.
Does anyone have more concrete information to help?

Thanks for the help guys, this is what I have
 
It looks pretty much like the one in the above picture, except the handle shaft has a plastic grip on both sides riveted on.
Both sides are stamped 'West Germany' ????
