Steve Dunn, MS does a great job with this pattern. Enjoy!

Yep, it's a beauty. Harvey also does a nice job with this pattern.

My favorite is the feather pattern they both use.

Yep, that is good looking damascus. I can't wait to meet Mr Dean in October. Meeting Steve Dunn last year was an honor, plus he is a super guy to boot!;)

Steve just sent me a great carbon steel bowie. Now I want a damascus one from him too. Thanks a lot Peter.

that is one of the nicest patterns I have seen. very fluid with lots of action in it. great photo too Peter.

The Damascus pattern on that Dunn is awesome. Congratulations on a beautiful piece!

This pattern is made using curved or V shaped ladder pattern dies in a hydraulic press. I first saw it used on a Dickie Robinson knife and I think he is the one who named it. Good looking knives.

Don, you are correct. Dickie Robinson developed this pattern, and named it West Texas Wind. He gave me a set of dies to use. Basically it's a lazy "S" ladder die.
Steve
