I've got an old Western Knife from Boulder and i'm having trouble finding out how old it is. I looked up the patent and it goes way back if I'm reading the number right. Any help would be appreciated.

The knife has a brass finger guard that is beefy and rounded, the handle appears to be bakelite and the blade is in fantastic shape. What's really cool is the sheath that someone must have put together, doesn't look like a factory thing, but man it is incredible.

It's in fantastic shape and has a really cool aluminum sheath with brass shims inside and copper or brass rivets.

I'm looking to find out the value because I might want to sell it.

Thanks for any and all help,

Carl

Welcome to BF cgeers. :)

You'll have better luck posting yer question in "Bernard Levine's Knife Collecting and Identification" forum.

Good luck!

Before 1977 because no date mark. Like Maybeso said try BL's or the Camillus forum.

Well, I don't. But I might be biased. Maybe.

I changed your white background to transparent on your first one; now I have to do it again. :grumpy:

:D

I'll go back and take care of that as soon as I figure out how to do that. Maybeso caught the death date prob. Fixed that.

Riff, how do you make the background transparent?
