ok sorry for the lack of text , i was having issues figuring out how to post pics and got tired of re typing

this was a knife i was told belonged to my grandfather who passed when i was very young , it was found when my grandmother passed , im guessing late 1950's early 1960's ? and value i am thinking maybe $75 , im not looking to sell just adding stuff to insurance and this was over looked the last time i updated , its been in my gun safe for at least 15 years

no chips , perfect point , razor sharp

Someone who knows Westerns should be able to give an aprox. date. Try Google search for the patent number? Is there a model number opposite from name stamp? Do a search for Western manufacture dates. Nice knife and I'm sure it's pretty old.

Technically, he didn't ask 🤣 .

M micmacman nicely done on posting pics without needing to ask for help. But don't be surprised if the thread gets shut down for the implied rule violation. Since the site costs the owner money to run and operate, paid memberships are required to use the site in a manner that involves potentially profiting from the use of it (such as asking about the value of a knife).

I am not the mod for this section, but I will pass your request along.
