Hi, just joined this forum. I've got a small collection of Western fixed blade knives, nothing real old. I do have all four of the bowie knives. W49 W47 W45 W43
The two big ones are marked with
WESTERN over W49 and USA them same for their w47. They small ones are marked
WESTERN over USA. W45 (W43) over the date code N (1990). I think the 49 and 47 are later date, from Camillus. although there is no WW, just W.
Can anyone tell me if this is correct? I also have the 100 year anniversary bowie, marked them same way as the other W49.
I'm trying to sell my little collection, but I'm having trouble trying to find out what they are worth. Can anyone help?

Hi thanks for the welcome. I want to send some pics, but not sure how to do it. I have to use my phone for going on line, don't have any Internet but the phone.
If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
What I'm trying to do is get an idea of prices,. I also have some Westmark knives. a 702. and two 701 Coleman/Western commemoratives. Thanks again,
