Western Bowie W49 - Handle repair

I recently acquired a Western W49 Bowie, the seller neglected to mention one of the rivets/pins was missing from one side of the handle. I understand these can have either rivets or pins, how do I tell which I have, and what's the best way to go about repairing it?

Pictures would help. If only one side is gone it is probably a press together cutlers rivet.

Thanks. Any idea what size these would be? Do I just drive the remaining rivet out and put in a new one?

Probably. Places like Jantz Supply might have them; they can help you figure it out if you call them.
