Western Bowie

I just watched an auction this weekend on ebay where a new in the box Western Bowie 49A sold for over $200. I know that everything is worth only what someone is willing to pay, but does anyone here think that the Camillus made Western Bowie should go for that amount of money? I remember these from the 80's when they were considered the cheap alternative to the Case Bowie, the only two factory bowies made in the USA at the time. Anyone wish to comment?

I guess it's the "I want one new in the box, and if I don't buy this one, I may never find another one" syndrome.

I have noticed that the price of knives is going up on ebay. I watch both western and buck knives. All I know is my Westmark knives are now worth a lot.
