This was made to commemorate 150 yrs of Texas in 1986.
If you're from Texas, or maybe just wish you were, it's for you.
Large Western carbon steel bowie.
Pioneering scene in gold is applied to both sides of blade.
One side is marked "1 of 15000, Western, USA". The other is marked "1868-Texas-1986".
There are minor detractions on the knife: Rust spot (not active) on spine of handle about 2mm in diameter, a matching spot on the other side of the spine.
Some small nicks on one side of the brass butt. Small light scratch near tip of blade, and a couple pepper spots near tip of blade. I would still call the condition excellent. There is no sheath.
Anyway it's $80.00 shipped, Paypal cash or USPS M.O. USA only
If you like it, you can always pay me more money.
If I wanted to trade it, it would be in the trade forum.
Thanks!
