Western L66

[know what i mean]

Picked up a nice L66 and sheath this past week. The Model No. is stamped on the finger guard. Could anyone tell me what time frame was this practice of stamping the model # on the finger guard from? Dale H.

Western was bought by Camillus in the '70's if I remember right.
