The tang is marked :

Not sure of its vintage. It is 2-7/8" long closed, main blade is 2-1/4",pen is 1-5/8" Opened up with the main blae it is 5-1/8" Pinned ns (ns= nickle silver) ovlal shield,ns pinched bolsters, brass liners.Jigged derlin scales with what appears ns pins.No half stops,"cam tangs",but a great walk & talk, solid f&f and overall construction. Not sure of the steel, but it has pits ,tiny & few,so its probably carbon. It was scratched up bad,so I put a decent looking satin finish on it,blades have been sharpened but appear very full & it is sharp.
