Western W49 Bowie - Bagwell modifications?

I've seen in my research that Bill Bagwell did an article some time back on how to customize the Western Bowie to be more user friendly, and I've seen snippets from it. Does anyone have the actual article they could pass on, or a link to it?

Saw that thread, thanks. I was the one who posted in it last. Unfortunately, it wasn't too clear to a non-knifemaker in spots. I was hoping for more detail, and perhaps a picture or two.

Sorry to be so dense, but I needed a bit of clarification.
 
Moved to the "Maintenance & Embellishment" area for further research on this. Link remains in "Traditional".
