Made by Camillus in the late 90s to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Texas rangers. I don’t have a lock back, but I have a couple of the other Texas Ranger ones. Last years of the Western brand knives being American.

The Texas Ranger series, including the model DWTX6, appears on Camillus/Western price lists from 1999 to 2002. But that year range can just be years of availability, not necessarily years of production.

Here's a blurb from a special catalog of the Texas Ranger series indicating the steel.

A pic from a different catalog.
