Westmark 702

I just bought a Westmark 702 on EBay. It is in "need a little work" condition. It has serial number 37256 on the blade. Does any one out there know the year from the number?

I still have an offer of a copy of the 1980 and 1986 Western catalogs on CD for free. I am making this offer because I know how hard information is on Western made knives.
