Westminster Gun and Knife show

This appears to be a somewhat small show, but it's only about 30 minutes from me, so I am definitely going to make it. I've been promising Scott from Razorback Knives forever that I would come take a look at his knives, but due to family and work issues, I haven't been able to. He said he will be there. I will go to this show, barring a natural disaster. Anybody else in MD going? Anybody know of any MD knife shops setting up there?
 
I hadn't heard of this one. The only one I thought was held here in Maryland was the Chesapeake Knife Show held in Dec. at Timonium.

Might have to try it out.

The few that I know of, are

The Belair Gun show at the Belair VFW, usually around January

Several gun shows at the Timonium Fairgrounds throughout the year

the antique arms show at the Timonium Fairgrounds, early spring usually

the York, PA shows, several times a year at the York Fairgrounds

there used to be an airgun show in Damascus MD, I think that's gone the way of the dodo unfortunately

found out about the Westminster show last year

there are a lot more smaller shows spread throughout the state, some custom makers attend these, I saw about three at the show in York, none the last time I was at the Timonium show. Check your local classifieds, Blade magazine, Shotgun News etc for dates.
 
whats the date on the westminster show it 14 min away from me i would like to see some of the faces from the forum
also mason-dixon knife club is having a show in frederick april 29 30 all knife no guns and such from what im told its at the fairgrounds
 
It's Sat. and Sun. May 14 & 15. Sat. 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sun. 9:00am to 3:00pm. Come on out, I'll be there along with a few other knifemakers, knife dealers, guns a plenty and other various outdoor related products. It's a great time. :D

thats going to make for a long weekend im going to dogfish head pub on the 13 but you know you got to do what you got to do
to find time i ll just cut work :)
 
My little sister, who is also my god daughter, is making her first communion the weekend of the Frederick Gun Show, and I'm helping out my parents tidy up after renovations to the house in preparation of that party. After that, on the road again, like a band of gypsies I go down the highway...

Even though I really like knives, I think it would be pretty queer to go to the knife show instead of my sisters first communion, I love her very much and other than a supermodel falling in my lap outside the church, I don't see anything stopping me from being there. I'll see y'all at the show in Westminster!
 
Got a table there for the w/e. Looking forward to it. I haven't done a gunshow for a couple of months.

I'm not sure. I'm always in a different place at the shows. :rolleyes: Just look for the boar skull and deer hide on the table.
BTW, you ought to think about joining the Chesapeake Bay Knife Club. We meet the second Monday of every month in the upstairs conference room at the Rosedale Federal Savings bank in Perry Hall at the corner of BelAir Rd. and Chapel Rd. We have a meeting tonight. at 7:00 pm. See ya this w/e ;)

ok asking alittle late but just where is the show at i havent been to the westminster knife show before an addy or directions ar needed on my part
 
If you're coming from PA.,you need to get on rt. 140 south, turn onto Center st. across from Cranberry mall and next to a Chevrolet dealership. Go 3 miles, make a right on Gist Rd. Go 1 block make a right on Smith Ave. to Agricultural Center. It's in the big new building. See you there. :)
