I have the Wen 10 inch wet grinder, and a Tormek Supergrind. I sharpen about 30 or 40 knives a month on them and I like the edges better than on a 1x30. The clients keep coming back. One major drawback is how much water splashes up on the top of the units and goes everywhere. A while back I kept seeing people advertise a tray to go on top of the Wen which would direct the water back into the reservoir. Does anyone have a link to a 3d printer file, or know someone who makes them?
FWIW I mainly use bench stones for my own knives, but there is no way I would have time to do that many knives at night and make it financial viable for a side hustle.
