Wetterling axes?

Hi guys!
I've heard lots of good stuff about GB axes, but they're a bit pricey. I've got a stateside source for Wetterling Axes - also Swedish, also hammer forged, for about half the price of a GB. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks!

Talk about getting a thorough answer to a question! Thanks for the review Cliff.

Glad you found it useful, they are a decent product for the price. The only real downside is that the quality of the GB products is relatively extreme so the standard for wood working axes in that price range is high.

Thanks cliff. If I were going to do some serious axe work, I'd go with the GB too. This one is just going to be used to split pelvises and breast bones on deer. I have my knives ground really thin for max cutting ability, which of course leaves them a bit fragile for chopping bone. Hence, the axe. Thank you for all the info.
My next one will be a big GB for "real" work. Thanks again.
