Wetterling

Don't know about the Wetterling but for me it's the double bit GB easy to keep sharp swings nice heads not to big or heavy and hair poping sharp x two

I have the Wetterling Carpenter's Axe. Very good axe. Superb steel. Very well finished.

I dunno its a tough call, the GB is a good $80 or so more but then again its a GB. It does look cool as hell though.

Anyone have experience with both of them know if the GB is worth the extra $ or if the style itself is better than the wetterlings?

Search the Web (like www.Google.com). There are reviews comparing GB and Wetterling (perhaps at BushcraftUK?). The Wetterlings don't come out badly - especially considering the price difference. That search will also let you compare prices.

They make very similar products to the GB line. You get a better fit and finish with the GB, but with a little effort on sharpening the Wetterline will run very well. On a budget they are a solid choice.
