Got it about a week ago. When I opened the package I was severely disappointed. The axe head had a chip on the lower edge of the blade. The head it self was off center an eight of an inch. To top all of that when I was testing it out for the second time I found that the head was beginning to wobble and break free. This really pissed me off. Hopefully the replacement will be a better product. Wetterling prides itself on their hand made craftsmentship and how it will last for many years. My axe only made it a week.

That could be a shipping problem, in any case ask for a 50% refund, and say the service was very unsatisfactry. It worked for me when I got a guitar shipped.

Usually the Wetterling axes are pretty decent. I'd call the company back and ask for a refund or another axe. Keep us posted.

:D
Damn, won't let me leave just the smiley face.
Had to write this crap just to show how funny the axe/guitar reference was.
Very good!
