Wetterlings sharpening puck question

I am using a Wetterlings sharpening puck. It is developing a bit of a concave shape on both sides. Is there a way to rectify this, or is it a problem at all?

Use the high points or lap it on a coarse silicon carbide stone or on a plate of glass with loose grit on it.

This. Every time I pull out my round stone the first thing I do is check for high points.
