Oh man, that is gorgeous.

Outstanding piece, congrats to the makers and the new owner...

If not the originals, at least replicas of your knives should
be used in modern Western movies.

They are truly amazing!!!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Another great looking knife.:)

Replicas PLEASE! I've done some leatherwork for movie makers and they can be a royal pain in the butt to work for....

David - if you ever decide to do a book on makers of historical/frontier pieces let me know. Besides myself and of course the team of Dan Winkler & Karen Shook. there are many fantastic makers in the genre who are virtually unknown to the "custom knifeworld" - there are makers like Jed Brennan and Sons (you can see one of their Bowies here http://contemporarymakers.blogspot.com/), the House brothers, Dennis Miles who made the knves for the movie Gangs of New York, Kyle Williard, Jack Hubbard, and too many more to list here......

Chuck ,I had the pleasure of making a sheath for a Kyle Willyard knife a few months ago, and your right, his knives are very nice indeed.

And let's not forget John in that group of fine makers of historical/frontier blades and sheaths -

sorry John for no tincluding you the first time around -my brain tain't firing on all cylinders, after effects of the "bug" - also it's snowing, been coming down at about an inch per hour for the last twelve hours and no end in site.....

Thanks for the nod Chuck!Glad to hear that you are recovering. Hope you stay well and warm up there in God's country.
