WH Clipcase for a Buck 112, or custom?

Well, here's my problem... I am getting (very soon) a Buck 112 rebladed to BG-42. This isn't the problem, however. The problem is what to do about carrying it when I get it back. I like clipped knives because when they are clipped to the pocket, they sort of melt into the regular picture of your clothing. I carry my SS Delica everywhere, and even with dress pants and a suit I don't think I'd raise any eyebrows by having the clip hanging out of my pocket. I want to carry my new Buck most of the time, but I don't want the attention that a belt sheath might draw. Thus my question (Please forgive my rambling):

Will a William Henry Clipcase work for clipping a 112 to the pocket, or would I have to get something custom made?

Thanks for your patience, and your time in looking!

Sincerely,
Anthony

Mate, I've found that the color "Oxblood" (maroon) makes a leather
pouch almost disappear to the general public. As a suggestion ask
Gary Grayley (sp?) to make you a Oxblood custom sheath for your
souped up 112. I'd be willing to bet you'll be suprized at how may people
DON'T notice the knife on your belt. :D

Tightwad, thank you for your reply. I may in fact have to have a custom sheath made for the 112, but NO ONE on this board can tell me if a 112 is likely to fit a William Henry case? SURELY someone MUST know, or at least have an idea, I mean, we have a LOT of people here who own William Henry's, and I would presume that at least ONE of the few collectors might have either a 112, or at least be able to make an educated guess? I'm not asking anyone to ruin their sheath, I'm just looking for an idea here! Thanks.

Sincerely,
Anthony

In the absence of a more informed source I will venture the opinion that you are not going to be able to find a William Henry clip-case that will accomodate your Buck 112. The only WmHenry that I own is an SO-7, which is one of their lower-end knives with a 3" blade and 4" handle which at approx. 5/16" thick is a slim "gentleman's" knife and its clip-case is of the same nature. The Buck 112 is at 9/16" thick a very solid, heavy brute - an entirely different animal. The blade, handle and overall lengths are somewhat close but to me the similarity ends with the unadorned dimensions and the basic difference in the nature of the two knives ensures that you will have to look elsewhere for a way to carry the Buck 112.

Others more knowledgable about WmHenry knives may be of more help to you.

Mate, Just reading Wrayh 's response and it hit me:rolleyes:
Dhoo, I'm so thick sometimes. Why not ask Gary to make you
a clipped pocket pouch for your 112??:)

Yep, you could have your cake and eat it to that way:D :D

Thanks to all of you who responded! I especially want to thank WrayH and Tightwad. I probably will be giving Mr. Grayley (sp?) what he might be able to do. Thanks!
