Just got a Ken Scallion and a CRKT Kasper. I really like the Kasper and it's going to replace my Spyderco Calypso Jr. in my RFP. The scallion is cool except is is too small to manipulate...haven't decided what to do with it, yet.
Anyone else?

Today I received 2 custom oversized thumb-studs that I had ordered from Ray Murski, to install on my 2 REKAT Sifus. He mailed them out (USPS Priority Mail) 2 days ago, from clear across the country from me, so that 2 day delivery was totally unexpected, but a nice suprise!.:).:).

Today was just a nice ordinary day....except for one thing.
In the mail today I got an early suprise Christmas gift of sorts.

My very first custom folder.

She has yet to draw blood tho....but its only a matter of time. hehe.

My cam and my scanner are both Kaput on me currently, so no pics of my new EDC :(.

But needless to say, I am a very very happy boy :D

I really didnt pay attention to what else came int he mail today...just none of it seemed interesting enough to demand my immediate attention...had sharper things on my mind
 
I think the Mail man is holding my Spyderco Viele hostage. i've expected it for two days but when I open the mailbox... just bills and useless catalogs! the Agony of waiting another day ARGHHHHH!

When looking through the day's mail, one always scans the return addresses to see who sent you mail this day. I was a bit surprised to find one that read: The White House, Wasington, DC 20500. Inside, a nice Christmas card from President and Mrs. George W. Bush.

The message reads, in part, "... and may the New Year bring peace on Earth." I hope so.


Oh, and Zack, the President spelled my name correctly.
 
Nothing in the mail today ... in fact, I don't think we got a mail delivery today ... but I'm still playing with a very recent new arrival: a Microtech Medallion. (Thanks, feverdoc!)

Nice little knife, almost too small for my hand. I wanted it for a necker, but the sheath with the tek-lok is tempting me into horizontal belt carry. I tried it a couple of ways, including weakside, on the left, as a crossdraw, with a lefthand draw in reverse grip possible also.

It really looks like a tough blade, and it is sharp enough to slaughter fruits and vegetables :D
 
I can't beat Gollnick's. Today(yesterday) I got a Chavar NC-1 from Burke, and a Eagle recon hydro pack from lightfigter.com The Eagle was ordered months ago as a early birthday present and because they have been backlogged with orders they couldn't ship it out til last week. It finally arrived today, on my birthday!:D Overall I am one happy camper.

and hopefully in about a month or so, my second custom folder,by art washburn. i woulda had this puppy a long time ago,if not for tuition :(

Credit card bills...and junk mail....will consider trades for large folder:D
