i have a whale tooth thats a bit bigger than that one. i have it from a reliable souce that its worth about $200.00 or about two years in jail, depending on who i sell it to! be careful bud. we all would hate to have to bake you a cake with a file in it! its martha's latest recipe.

Thanks Guys; The blade is 4" and oal 8 1/2". This knife is made for a locally ivory dealer. He supplies the wood and the tooth. This dude also manufactures alternative ivory and does a lot of work for Buck or Frost.
The Koa wood is to soft for my likes, but that is what he wanted. He shrims it and then sends it to a shop in Hawaii. He wants me to do 2 to 3 a month. The tooth is really easy to work with and take a really nice polish.
He calls it a tourist knife.
This dude has some copper plate off the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) that I am try to get off him
