I am looking for a Wharncliff fixed blade in factory or custom. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Looking for a blade around 3 inches more or less. Thanks!

I have 2 wharncliffs by custom knife makers here on BF.

Ray Laconico and Scott T can make any size you want, the prices are reasonalbe also.

Look in the knife makers gallery or fixed blade area for some info

Raylaconico@aol.com

magua1@midmaine.com for Scott T

Or you can email them, both easy to talk with getting a knife made you will like

Look at some by Gene Ingram. He makes some awesome D2 Wharny blades.

Tusk is good. The Bark River OMF also has a Wharncliffe blade though with a slight curve along the whole edge.

Strider WP in that style. Mine is S30V steel and cord wrapped and a strong knife. With the cord wrap and kydex sheath makes a light flat package that can be slipped into the pocket.
Good luck in your search.

I have one by Ray Laconico, beautiful, useful blade, and one by BRKT (TUSK), nice looking and strong to boot.

p.s. - neither one will cost you an arm and a leg like some of those others....!

Don't know if you are looking for more of a "sheepsfoot" style, or a pointier style, but in addition to the roundish Graham Bros that was mentioned earlier, they make a pointy "Tactical wharncliff"
