I finished this one up over the weekend just in time for xmas, which is handy as it is intended as an xmas present for someone.

Some vital statistics before the pictures:

Blade and Spring: Hand Rubbed Satin Finish 3/32 inch thick O1 steel
Liners and Bolsters: Nickel Silver
Handle: Black Linen Micarta

Overall Length: 165mm
Closed Length: 98mm
Blade: 60mm

I am quite happy with how this one came out. The spring is flush in the open, closed and half stop positions. I had a little problem with the design that meant I could have made the blade longer but that will be fixed on the next one I make and the pivot pin has shown up after opening and closing the knife a couple of times but I have heard that is a common problem and I am not too sure what can be done about it, maybe bashing the pins a bit more next time. I am hoping to finish a few more of these for the Canberra Knife Show at the end of January.

Really, really nice!

Could you PM me some more details about the Canberra knife show? I've never experienced anything like that over here in Aus.

thanks
Daniel.

I really really love it. Something about the slim design and all of the bolsters contrasting with the handle looks great.

If you don't have a someone in mind yet for that Christmas present I will be glad to send you my address. Very nice work.
