Made a friction folder for a customer a while ago and he came back and asked if I could do another with a Wharncliffe style blade.
Even though it's not my favorite blade shape I like the way it turned out.

-blade and spacer are 15n20
-textured copper handles
-316 stainless pins
-bronze washers ["what are the dryers made out of?" - my girlfriend]

Man that sure is a looker, I really like the shorter tang (total guess on what the piece that holds it open is called). The whole knife looks great though.

Cool knife! Nice and simple but pretty.
I like the texturing hammer there. Hmm, I have a couple extra hammers and a rotary tool... might have to mess around with some texture too. Not to be a copy cat...

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.

Hunter - I like the shorter tang too. [I'm not really even sure if that's right. I just make the things..]

Salem - go for it. Texture keeps me interested in this stuff.
I love making a hammer and seeing what it does.
Sometimes they don't work so well for my immediate purposes,
but I keep them around for general blacksmithing work.
This one I just took a welders hammer and went to town on the face.
