I'm a fan of traditional wharncliffes, and I have a GEC Viper and Northwoods Hawthorne Wharnie so far.
Lately I've been looking at the Little Rattler but it's too small.
It's not so much the 2" blade length that I find too small on the Little Rattler, it's the handle length.

Is there a traditional that looks like it, but larger? Like a single-bladed Case Seahorse?

Maybe a Copperhead or Trapper?

Is there a Teardrop pattern with a wide, whittler-type wharncliffe blade? I think that would be what I'm really wanting.

The middle one. What's that pattern called? I've seen those and like them a lot, but I haven't come across single-bladed wharnies unless it's a custom.
That's the Teardrop. They usually have a spear blade, I think.

Not that I know of, but someone else might have a suggestion.
Maybe just go for the Seahorse Whittler?

I've thought about just going with the Seahorse, but I can't stand the offset position in the multi-bladed knives. Might just have to get one made.

Etrick (spelling?) pattern? I think photos of them with a Wharncliffe have been shown here ... or are they "strictly" equipped with a lambsfoot blade?
The teardrop might be a good option. I don't know if Case is currently producing the 28 pattern, or if it is "In The Vault".
Mine is 3.5 inches closed. Is that too small?
I believe Rough Ryder currently has a tear drop the same size as the Case in production with a Wharncliffe blade.

3.5" closed length is ok. I much prefer the dimensions of the 47 Viper, closer to 4"

That said, if anyone has a 2020 Forum Knife that they want to let go of...I'm interested :D

Wharncliffe blade. My ideal would be a 2.5" - 3" Seahorse blade in a teardrop frame. I'm getting ready to render it and have it made :D
