Here is one I am just about done with. I tried doing some file work on this one but I still need some practice. I also left the etch unmarked to see how it would look and I wish I had marked it.:grumpy: It is made from 1/8" O1 and is 7" OAL Spaulted Maple scales and brass hardware. I also did not have book matched sets of this handle material, but I really like how this wood looks.

You can put the stencil back on and re-etch and mark. I have done it several times. It's tricky to line up but possible. By the way nice work, I love wharncliffs and that one looks handy.

I tried to go back on a walmart knife I practiced on and it kind of looked like crap, it was user error, but I am hesitant to try it again on this piece.

Great job,the filework looks good to me,nice shape and handle:thumbup::thumbup:Regards Butch

KnifeMaker,

You could always sell me the knife as it is, then forget about it. I agree trying to add or touch up is a mistake. Usually looks like, well, worse.

That would make a good boaters knife, fixed, small, safe blade shape for a boat.

PM or email me if you do decide to let it go to a good home.
Sincerely,

panch0, that looks great. That blade design is the ultimate as a pure work knife.
