First of all I hope that it is ok to post this here. This knife is not for sale. I just figured that it is a traditional knife and just wanted to show off my 17th knife that I have made. It is 1/8" O1 steel and is 7" in length. It was going to be my shop knife but that plan changed. Anyways I worked hard and nailing every step in knifemaking isn't easy but I feel I am improving with each one I turn out. This was my second attempt at filework. I will do better next time on that. Of course there are things that I would have done different astheticly but it is a solid cutter and the HT was done by Peter's HT so that part is done well. Comments welcome.

Good looking knife. Congrats on your 17th.

Great looking knife Pancho! What type of wood, and what cut of that type of wood is that? It is interesting with the veins and different color sections. It makes for a very distinctive handle. The blade height and stoutness with the wharncliffe makes it a very bold design. I like it!

Thanks guys. The handles are made of stabilized spaulted maple. They weren't book matched unfortunately.

Panch...your work is looking great, I can tell you've been working hard at it.

Great job, I would hope that my 17th would look as well.
Congrats,
Jim
