What’s worse?

1 cup honey

Zest of 2 lemons

4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

4 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary

2 clove garlic minced

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Mix all this in small saucepan. Carefully bring to a simmer and let it simmer until it’s reduced by one third.

Lasts in the fridge a couple weeks.

Both are equally bad regardless of the knife's retail value. A clip on a $5 Mil Tec knife shaped object is just as bad as a clip on any Spiderco, or Benchmade, for example.
Cold Steel's Secure Ex sheaths dull whatever knife is put into them, no matter what the alleged blade steel is.

Yeah, the Secure-Ex dulling issue is still bugging us over in Cold Steel land. It seems to be hit and miss. Some users report dulling, some users can’t notice any considerable deterioration. I wouldn’t mind an increase in $20 if it means we get a decent kydex sheath. If you don’t mind getting a non-Cold Steel kukri, I recommend Kailash Blades. Their kuks have excellent craftsmanship. $600 is kinda steep, even for 3V steel.

A milled clip that’s too stiff or is poorly placed is infinitely worse than a wire clip. On a related note, an overly thick blade in the latest de rigueur super steel is worse than a thin blade in 440C.

Wait, what does this make?

It’s not that difficult to procure a sheath or make your own, so I guess I’d say the clip would bother me more. But I wouldn’t purchase either without knowing the specs. If the pocket clip or sheath are deal breakers just move on and find something that meets your needs/wants.

I don't mind the Spyderco wire pocket clip so if it's a Ti wire clip, meh, I'd be ok.

I'll vote Secure ex sheath.
