I currently carry the peanut and it’s one of my absolute favorite knives. I’m looking to add a few more small knives to the collection. what is your top favorite in this category?

Couple of other small CASE knives to consider are the Mini Blackhorn and Small Lockback ... both single blade

The Case teardrop is close to meeting the criteria. It’s my favorite small wonder.

The Mini Copperlock wasn't in the list but one of my favorite patterns. Also like the Canoe and the Butterbean.

The 33 pattern serpentine pen I guess, that's one of the few I have from Case under 3".
If you can up the limit to 3-1/4 the 08 half whittler is the best pattern they make.

Looks like overwhelming majority favors the peanut! Maybe I should I order another one in a different handle material, would be interesting to see how stag ages vs bone over time.
I am surprised nobody voted for the Texas toothpick. That was high on my list. it’d make a good letter opener if nothing!

If you want to try something different and can stretch your criteria another 0.125" to 3 inches even, you might consider the small swell center which is this year's vault release. I just received this one, but so far so good 👍

I love the small ones from Case. I voted for the Butterbean. It's such a cool little knife with the spear blade with the swedge and the long pull. Going just slightly bigger, I think the mini copperhead just nudges the small swell center and the half whittler.20221015_132624.jpg
