:confused:I was thinking something along the lines of a kershaw leek, chive, or scallion.
But i might also get a camilius blaze or sizzle. If you have any other suggestions please list them. I forgot about the spyderco byrd line but they are really the knives i am going to get if i dont get the other ones.

the byrds are really nice.

the boker subcam, warcom, subclaw are nice.

boker trance gets great reviews, its in that price range i believe.

spyderco dragonfly

For $35 get an Opinel and a Mora and a pizza...

You'll have two classic knives that every knife collector should own and dinner. :)

I recommend you consider:
Byrds,
KaBar Doziers
Benchmade Monochrome.
Kershaw Skyline
Benchmade Pika II

Of the above, I personally prefer the Monochrome, but YMMV.

If you can find a $35 leek and you don't have huge hands give it a try.

A Buck 110 is a great knife within that price range but it sounds like you're looking for something more lightweight.

Byrd or Spyderco Tenacious

Buck Hartsook and the little made in china folders.

Mora SWAK

Go back in time and get a Mule for 40$

Why the hell would you spend $35 on a knife? Get a Mora for 10 bucks. A sharpening stone for 15, and then buy five 6-piece nuggets off the dollar menu.

Just kidding, but not really...

The Kabar Folding Utility with AUS-8A steel:
Some different blade configuration choices, too -

Retails for ~$20 and you can sometimes find it for $15.

A serious cutting machine and very well made for the price.
I use one as a 'garage knife' and have chopped up lots of boxes, cut wire, scraped dirt/crud off tools, and much more. The knife really takes abuse well and holds an edge exceptionally well.

Regards,
Mike
