What a cool new pack.

Not really a new pack. Lots of guys rock the Pygmy Falcon II.

Seems to be a well liked pack.

It does look nice. I like that it's got a full clamshell opening for the main pocket for easy access. I would've rather they'd put MOLLE webbing on the sides of the pack, rather than mesh water bottle holders though. I like the pack, but that's probably enough of a reason for me to bypass it and look at something else.

If MOLLE on the sides is what youre after check out the Falcon. Its got molle on the sides instead of the holders. Other then that and an added waistbelt, the packs are almost the same.

I have had my Pymy Falcon for about a year. It is a about the perfect daypack/ overnight pack for me.

The PF2 is a great day hike pack. Like Tony, I've had mine about a year and it is still in great shape.

PF2 is a great little pack. I recently picked up a Maxped typhoon for an EDC bag and am so pleased with it that I'm trying to decide between the pygmy falcon2 and the falcon 2 as an overnight bag.

It looks like the Falcon takes a water bladder, and the Pygmy Falcon takes 2 water bottles is the main difference. I wish there was one that took both, it's nice to have options. I forgot to add that I have the Condor, they are all very high quality!

I've got a Pygmy Falcon. Its a great small/mid sized pack. I've loaded if FULL of ammo and hiked with it. Its a very very tough pack. While its not the most comfortable pack loaded to 60lbs, the pack holds up just fine and my back could handle it for a short hike. I now have it pulling diaper bag duty, which it does a great job at since it has some nice built in organization in the main compartment and the largest pocket. And the mesh bottle holders on the outside work well for separating bagged up diapers or dirty clothes from the main compartment. And you can use the top compression strap to carry coats or blankets on the outside of the pack.
It really is a good pack. I think I just convinced myself to buy another one? :) Or at least save this one from diaper bag duty.

Love mine as well. I've had it for two years. I'll try to post a few load out picture in the near future.

I think the pygmy falcon is a great hiking pack, especially for moderate weather. Even though it has the bottle holders, you can Molle stuff inside anyway. I have a RC-3 mounted inside the bottle holder. The organizer add on is a plus too.
