I am in Athens right now (Bulldog country, not southern Europe). Molly is at the hospital for a post-surgery checkup and I have a couple of hours to kill. I stop into a knife & gun B&M that I visit when I'm here and they have moved some of their BMs to a glass case. I walked over, had a look, and there, staring straight up at me, was a pristine, unused, uncarried 721 PE satin blade for <$100. No box, but an obviously unused knife, or so lightly used that it doesn't show. It's in my possession now.
For those who are recent to knives and BM, the 720 & 721 are from the turn of the century. They are 3.5" clip point (Bowie blade profile) AXIS knives. The 720 was aluminium scaled and the 721 was G10. They are my all-time favorite BMs for everyday carry, a real competitor to my Paras for size, weight, and function.
Turns out the store bought someone's collection. There are a couple of AFCKs (I think that's the model), some early 530s, and a few other things there, but the 721 was what interested me. I've never has a "flea market/pawn shop surprise" before, but I guess if you keep looking, sometimes you hit pay dirt.
Just thought I'd share that.
