What a great day.

I got to wake up next to my beautiful wife, see my wonderful children off to school, go to the coolest job in the world and it only got better from there. Got the phone call i was waiting for saying my convertible was fixed and ready to go. I drove around with the top down for over an hour. It was wonderful.
Now for the best part. When i got home i parked the car and was about to get out when something on the floor caught my eye. Reached down and pulled out a Batac that i had forgotten I had. Sage with green g10. It was like getting a new knife.
I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. I wonder if i have forgotten any other knives in that car. I'm off to check the trunk.

Congrat's on the Great Day. It's even better when you have a job you love to go too and a close nit family. Not many have a Job like that or family for that matter. Busse Combat seem's to have a lot of happy people working there with great attitudes. That sure is rare these day's! Best of Luck....... for many day's like that to find you :thumbup:
 
Garth buddy , you DID have a great day ! That's how every day should be for all of us , but you know Garth , that's how you know you "might" have collected too many knives when you are finding ones you didn't even know you had laying around . I think you should gather up all those extras and ship them to me :D I'll PM you my adress .

I was gonna say that's like finding twenty bucks in your pocket...then I realized, no, thats like finding twenty - twenty dollar billS in your pocket! Dang! That's a really good day...you over-INFIed privileged one.

Can't be that bad, man... You woke up this morning!


Waking up is the most important time of the day. But only because the alternative always makes for a bad day. Things could always be worse :D

Whenever I have a bad day... I like to read this quote. It is written on John Wayne's tombstone.

"Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learnt something from yesterday."

That is a great day. I've been trying to have a similar day for 2 years, without any luck. Do you want to come look in my cars for a William Henry my wife lost?
