My wife and sons went to Dicks Sporting goods today. Leaving the parking lot they passed Sunnys Surplus that's "going out of business". I've been telling my sons we NEED to try and buy that Buck sign in their window. Today they made my wife stop and go in. Manager wanted $20, the Mrs. only had $14. I don't think I'll pull that " I got You another nice Buck knife" this Valentines Day :D :D :D

That is awesome Scott!!
Great deal too!!
Is the Mrs. going to let you hang it in the livingroom? :D

...Scott!!...Does your wife by any chance have a sister???...LOL...That is one fabulous catch there my friend...and that sign is pretty neat too...View attachment 67261...WOO HOO...

Scott: Great sign! Nice looking sons. Aside from the knives for a moment, you have quite a collection of 'arrow heads' on the wall. Have you been to the Four Corners Area of our great country. I love signs - Route 66!!!!!!

Thank Rusty! I belong to the AACA, Authentic Artifact Collectors Association. I've only got about 500 ancient knives and points. About half of them have "Letters of Authenticity". I enjoy the evolution of knifemaking to where it is today. I've been out west, but not to Arizona or New Mexico, yet. My house rivals any flea market! ;)

Very cool of your family Scott.
Given what you wife did and, I can see it in the eyes of the boyz, must mean there's a good dad around

Hi Scott,

You are a lucky man to be loved so much by your family. That's a cool addition to your collection....did you get any discounted Buck knives at the going out of business sale????

I'm guessing that's why they went out of business, because they had NO Buck knives...not even a display. How can you run an outdoors store with no Bucks:confused: (and have a sign in the window:D ) I'm sure Dicks Sporting goods 100 yards away hurt their business

Sounds like you were in the right place at the right time! Nice find! :D
Love those arrowheads by the way.

Hey Dave...
Good to see you back.
It was wierd here without you.
But, it's wierd when you're here too :)

Scoot...
We need a pic when you decide where you're gonna hang that.
