What-A-Knife

I noticed these are showing up Ebay now. I remember seeing these years ago, and as I remember they were a cheap made, but fuctional knife
Is there any history behind them? I can't find them in any catalogs.
I know they came in a one blade, two blade and a two blade, one of which was a can or bottle openner.

I seem to remember Camillus made them for the What-A-Saw company that marketed a folding saw on infomercials. They were trying to spice things up by giving away a knife too.

I don't remember if they quit paying, or Camillus made too many, but I think the extras were dumped onto the market. Amazing they are still around!
