the other day a co-worker of mine who knows I collect knives brought into work a fixed blade with the blade markings Thalson Bolingen Germany. The blade is 6" long with a small blood groove and a brass handguard that forms a cross with the tang, but the real interesting part of it is the handle, it is a deer hoof complete with hair. it came with a real old leather sheath, and there is definately wear on the blade from being sharpened and used. I thought that this was kind of special and thought I would share with you. I am so sorry I can't post a picture of it as I don't have a digital camera.
