I had bought a knife from Bailey a while back, but wasn't able to take any pics until last night, I must say, this might be my favorite folder of his to date.

Solid ladder damascus interframe bale lock folder, the 3.25" blade is a forged, 4-bar "Explosion" pattern, razor sharp, the rich, creamy pre-ban elephant ivory inlays fit into the solid damascus frame seamlessly, the rest of the frame is filled with 24K gold scroll work, pivot is fileworked, bale is nickel silver.

Smooth action, when locked open, there is zero play in any direction, blade is nicely centered. Photogenic too. :)

Now for the Fisk.

Gorgeous stag Sendero, temper line didn't come out in the pics, but it's there, very sweet amber stag, excellent engraving on the stainless guard and pins by Jerry, the F&F is flawless. Sole authorship, and a classic.

This Sendero won "Best Hunter" at the ACKS this year, I have the wood plaque signed by Jerry to prove it. :)

Damn, Ari.............damn! :D

Thanks everybody, Dudley, don't you usually say: "Son!" :)

Terry, yes, I do feel lucky, I tell my wife it's because she married me, but, we know the truth. :)

Great Knives Ari , ya done good with the pics also. But they took forever to down load for me. Keep up the good work .

Don, they're big files, but not huge, around 600-700K, your trouble is, you connect to the net with 2 tin cans and a string... :)

I also shot our Big Boy last night too, well, Coops are better. :( ;) :)

The Bradshaw folder is simply stunning, the inlays and mammoth work wonderfully and the blade profile is fantastic. Congrats , that is a folder after my own heart.

The sendero ... what can one say, perfect.

I wanted to add one thing. I would say that the workmanship and F&F on this Bradshaw interframe rivals that of the top makers of lockback interframes, guys like Kious, Osbourne, Warenski etc... But, I think Bailey's version offers you a bit more, because, while this is not meant to put down any of those makers, I am a huge fan of them all, when all is said and done, they are stricly stock removal, and while they make a superb knife, there is something they just can't provide me, namely, that forged, fixed blade feeling, but in a folder.

Like many of you, I am drawn to forged knives, there are several reasons why, I won't debate this issue here, but in any case, I love forged blades, and while I would have no hesitation owning, and paying good money for an interframe from any of the makers I listed above, I love the idea that with an interframe of Bailey's, you get all that style and workmanship, plus, the look and feel of a hand forged blade from a top Mastersmith, something that stock removal makers just cannot provide, no matter how good they are. I get the same feeling from Bailey's folding bowies, it's truly the best of both worlds, it's like having a forged bowie from a top MS, but one that happens to fold. :) Truly a folding bowie!

It's something that I had been thinking about and wanted to post, and yes, this folder gives me major, warm fuzzies. :)

Ari and I had a long conversation about just that, Don. I was prompted by these images. (Even though I have the worlds fastest cable modem, I know that others don't) Expect a change soon... ;)

That aside, I must add in on the 'attaboys'. Simply outstanding choices. Congrats to Ari and the makers!

Both knives are nothing short of stunning.

Congrats Ari. I am sure you will enjoy them.
