Very happy with these. A large Micarta 21 and a Startac Umnumzaan with the new pivot. My very first CRK was a large Micarta 21, I sold it along the line and I'm absolutely thrilled to have one again. The StarTac is just cool and the new pivot doesn't bother me in the slightest. I dig it. Both were purchased here by two awesome forum members:thumbup:

And before it's asked, no, I will not be scotch briting the Zaan

Sweet, I will have to see what the micarta is all about. Perhaps a raindrop damascus small micarta. Insingo??? Just the thought makes me want to call CRK

I also have never even had a (an?) 'Zaan. If I get one it will have to be a star-tac for sure.

great pair indeed. Still haven't had a go with the micarta seb. Somewhere on that long list of wants, the order is always flip-flopping.

The micarta is great, durable as can be, a no worries inlay for sure.

And no, I'm not 100% about not scotch briting the Zaan...

Me too. I didn't know how I'd feel about the new pivot, but it's nice and getting me pumped about the 25. If they keep including tools with them, they're gonna be some heavy boxes! Three tools to take it apart. Nothing you couldn't find in your toolbox though so no more plastic four pegged take down kits!!:thumbup:
