My g/f got me a Benchmade Griptilian for Valentine's Day...gotta love military women :)
I had just recently taken an interest in knives and bought an Uzi knife (US Cutlery) which I really really hated.
The Griptilian opens sooo smooth, I really like it.

The Grips are one of my favorite knives. They are beautifully made and designed to work hard, in fact, I am carrying one as I type. Congrats on your gift, as your lady took the time to get you one of the best. :thumbup:
 
My G/F got me an Olight M20 Warrior Flashlight. She's also gotten me a Kershaw Packrat and an MOD CQD Mark II (late Christmas Gift) :).

I assure you, the ring is coming one day :) She's on training right now and she called me to say she can't wait to come home so we can go to the range to shoot! What can I say, I'm glad I waited this long to find the right one!! (I'm 36 :) )

As for the Uzi from US Cutlery (model name is Uzi Defender folding knife)...I hate to say bad things, but honestly, I'd steer anyone away from it. It's really not smooth to open and has some very sharp edges (not the blade) to hack up your hand. Just not very comfortable to hold or open.
