Anybody who has the cojones to put green-dyed wood (box elder?) on a 19 is OK by me. Gorgeous stag on that model 1 too. (It is a model 1, right? Hard to tell from the photo.)

Green Curly Maple - it's got a very deep, almost translucent finish. You can look right into it like the old high-gloss lacquer auto finishes of days gone by...

Also, FWIW, once RMK offered a green Maple handle material - only for about two years in the early 1970's and one catalog printing (the 21st IIRC) - the knife shown on page 99 of my book has such a handle material...

Cool thing about this particular #19-5 is that the clip is longer and the belly shallower than normal, and with the wood handle it's very light in the hand!

Model #1? Where... ;)

The 12-9? It doesn't look very green in the photo, but I'm well aware that photos can look very different from the real thing. I like that.

You know, I've thought about using some of the other stuff from Masecraft (not AI) for a handle. Don't know if I'll ever work up the nerve to do it, but it could be interesting.

I would have to say some of that turquoise on the style bowie blades you like would be a fascinating looking knife. It would set off the bird beak pommel, or even as the inlay to the cast handles Ruana uses.
