I was up at Nordic Knives last weekend (great shop with lots of customs) and saw a knife made by Chris Smith. Chris is supposed to be John W. Smith's son. I'd love to have a JWS knife, but they're a bit rich for my wallet at this point in time. The Chris Smith knife I was looking for was a 3.5" ATS34 blade with stainless bolsters and Carbon Fiber scales. It was a liner lock with a real smooth action and was less than a new large Sebbie. If the fit between the scales and bolsters was just s little tighter I'd have probably bought it. I'm still thinking about it.

What do you folks know about Chris's knives?

jmx,
Chris sure is JW's son. He doesnt make alot of knives, the ones I've seen are very good. According to John, at Chris's age he desires something called a social life(:D) and John has a hard time keeping him in the shop.
