Benchmade has their limited editions. What about limited edition cuda maxx? How about custom scales?

That would be fun! Maybe a collaboration between Fisk and Ralph? Darrel has already got the handle, maybe Fisk could come up with a blade of his design for it?

With all of the irons Camillus has in the fire, the Gibb's Cuda Maxx will most likely be the extent of a limited edition Maxx.

It is fun to think up some ideas for this!

Please, let them get the Gibbs CUDA MAXX into production for those who have ordered it and been waiting before you all start pressing for something else.

It's going to be hard to improve on the production Cuda Maxx, imo. I've thought about contoured (i.e, fat, rounded) scales/handle which could improve the grip; however, the added weight and bulk in my pocket is a tradeoff that I am not willing to take. I also do not need drilled holes for tip-up blade carry.

Nonetheless, here's my list:

BC-1 (or similar) coated blade? Yes

Ti handle anodized with a different color? Maybe

Ti handle drilled with holes or slots for aesthetic and weight reduction purposes? Maybe

Talonite blade? I think A.G. Russell already has that covered

It would be fun to hear more ideas/wishful thinking/fantasies from others. :D

I would love to see some different blade styles. A tanto, a wharnie, theres plenty of room for variation on the basic BIG FOLDER theme.

There is a spearpoint version.

I'd like to see a dark gray Ti scale version. The Ti blue is not my taste.

Where can I see the spearpoint version? I only know of the bowie and stiletto models.

Actually, unless plans change, the spearpoint will be on the Gibb's and the regular 5.5" will have the bowie and stilleto blades.
