This knife intrigues me but I see little to no discussion about it. M390, beautiful grind, handsome grey G10 scales, lightweight, standard Axis. To me it looks like what is always wished the Emissary had been.

Anyone have one of these little beauties?

I played with one the other day when I was gettin my dad a new 940. Very nice knife, just too small for my hands and for my liking.

Saw one yesterday in a store, foudn it very nice and surprisingly small. So now I consider buying one but i already have too many knifes on my wishlist. But it really like the size of it

I love my 485!!! I added a small lanyard to mine, it makes getting it out my pocket a breeze especially with the deep carry clip. I can flip it with ease YMMV. I have a Techno and Chaparral as my EDC, the 485 is my favorite. I think it is really priced fairly considering the design and materials used. Wish the thumb stud was a tiny bit bigger/longer. The finish on the 485 is not as good as the Techno, but is on par with the Chaparral (excluding the clip). Overall its a great knife for me, would definately buy another if I lost this one.

Yep. It's smaller than my Sequel and that's already too small for comfort. I keep it because I got a good deal on it. But I simply refuse to buy a knife with a shorter handle than it has.

I've had my 485 for several months, I really like it. I can see where guys with large hands have problems with it. I can flick it open with the thumb stud, but it took a little adjustment and practice. My hands are a bit on the small side, by no means tiny. I'd suggest handling one before you buy. It's a nice, compact, sturdy knife.
