What am I missing?

Stuff like this makes no sense at all. Some kinda feeding frenzy or something. Even if it was one of the earlier wooden scale models, it shouldn't sell for that much. Makes me want to sell the two I have but that wouldn't happen to me.
 
Did you notice a newby bought it. They spent themselves into oblivian then have buyers remorse.
 
$73:eek: I just picked this one up today at a local flea market for $10. Doesn't appear to be used and the blades are really tight with good snap. I gave it a good wipe down with some hopps #9,oiled the joints with some rem oil, and then slipped into the pocket for the day:).

BTW same dummy is bidding on another one and with 4 hours left in the auction, the electrician knife is bid up to $45 plus shipping. :jerkit:I won't identify the listing as it is still active but will return here after it closes to report. I can honestly state that the listing is not mine as all my electrician knifes up are listed BIN. Makes me want to throw one up there auction style just to see.;)

And the seller was a newby! Did he luck out! Damn fine knife.......for $10-$15 unless maybe previously owned by somebody famous. City-you are a wealthy guy!
