What angle should I put on my D2 SR-1A?

Hey everyone,

I'm about to re-profile my Lion Steel SR-1A in D2, Would love to hear angle suggestions which will suit D2 best for everyday cutting tasks.
Will be using a Wicked Edge for the task.

17-18 per side, just stay above 15 per side and it will perform well. Go below and the edge gets chippy.

Agreed. 15 to 20 will do fine for a user. D2 is one of my favorites. I've never had an issue with chipping at 18 degrees. I've even hit hidden staples. >_<

Alright then, I'll go for 17 degrees per side.
