What are collectors looking for at Blade show?......

Just curious...... What will you guys be looking for at Blade show?

If time and $$$ allow I will look for some handle material....as far as knives I will be keeping an eye out for switchblades and "theater knives":thumbup:
And maybe some titanium chopsticks this year.:D

Predictably, I will be looking for knives in the bowie / camp knife / fighter categories.

In addition, I'll be looking for a nice slipjoint folder as well as a small dressy fixed blade for the "desk knife" role.

I'd also like to find a good set of sharpening stones, and snagging some nice handle material would be cool, too.

Damn - that's a lot of stuff - some of it will be just "looking" indeed. :eek:

Actually, for the first time I can remember "nothing particular" as far as knives.
Will be looking at everything, especially maker's work that I'm less familiar with.

Looking to examine maker's knives that I often see photos of but have not handled or seen in hand.

Will be looking to putt as many faces as possible to the words of members here @ Blade Forums.

Looking to spend time with friends that I seldom see.

Will be discussing knife designs with a couple makers for which I have orders.

Always looking at ivory.

Will be introducing the CKCA to as many folks as possible.

I want to put faces to names of friends on forum, first and foremost. Then, on to the knives of those I just have seen and never actually CE or CF'd. Perhaps, one will speak to me, and it is available and say "Take me home".

will get me most of the time, but I do usually cut it off early.
